Cowgirls who Bowl (!) Woman with Big Balls and a Stick Pin collection Jim Linderman

Not only cowgirls, but cowgirls with big balls!  Presumably the winners of the World International Bowling Congress…and a badge too!  Those are some damn tough athletes…I'd hate to meet one in an alley.  (Get it? Alley?)  Haw.

The Women's International Bowling Congress was formed in 1916.  The organization lasted until 2005, when they merged with another group.

Here Come the Women of Rebekah #40 IOOF PARADE Collection Jim Linderman

It's parade time and Rebekah has gone all out!  Mistletoe Rebekah Lodge Number 40

I AM A REBEKAH:
I believe in the Fatherhood of God, the Brotherhood of man, and the Sisterhood of woman.
I believe in the watch-words of our Order - Friendship, Love and Truth.
Friendship - is like a golden chain that ties our hearts together. Love - is one of our most precious gifts, the more you give, the more you receive. Truth - is the standard by which we value people. It is the foundation of our society.
I believe that my main concern should be my God, my family and my friends. Then I should reach out to my community and the World, for in God's eyes we are all brothers and sisters.
I AM A REBEKAH!

Victoria Plaza from Passaic and her Proud Baseball Moment

Victoria Plaza's moment came against the Rutherford, New York girls baseball team in Spring 1921. The Passaic New Jersey student pitched a no-hitter. When she woke that morning, could she have suspected her photo would be taken against a wall near the dugout? She seems to be handling her momentary fame with considerable style and grace.
